Startup Internship Program 2016

Thanks to a grant from the John E. and Jeanne T. Hughes Foundation, the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center was once again able to sponsor DePaul undergraduate student internships at Chicago startups in the summer of 2016. After a competitive interview process, 6 qualified students were selected. The selected students participated in a speed dating process to rank who they wanted to work for over the summer for 125 hours.

Selected Startups:

– BeOffice Urban Workspaces.
– Coffee & Conversation/ Levi Baer Consulting.
– Evolve.
– Idea Lemon.
– Spare to Share.
– STEM Girl Social Network.
– Work + Shelter.

Students discovered what it was like to work in the fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.  They were each given a wide variety of projects and tasks throughout the summer. Students were able to be part of creative brainstorming, implementing ideas, and more!
