Presenter Bio: Florence Hardy, Esq, MBA is the Chief Executive Officer of truCrowd Illinois, the first equity Crowdfunding campaign in the state.  She previously had her own law firm and worked as a business consultant with DePaul University, the City of Chicago and The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.

Florence Hardy is the Manager of the Small Business Development Center at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce where she provides free one-on-one counseling and access to resources to business owners from all over the Chicagoland area. A graduate of the John Marshall Law School and the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, Florence has been a successful business consultant for over 5 years. She formerly worked as Senior Business Consultant for the City of Chicago in the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, where she guided business owners through the licensing and compliance process. Florence is also a Certified Mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago.
